Life at Tabley House

Life at Tabley House is individualised to suit each person’s needs, wants and preferences.

The home is sociable, warm and friendly with a range of activities every day for residents, their families and friends.

Depending on their preferences, people can enjoy gardening, games, arts, crafts, music, flower arranging or many other activities that are supported by our in-house dedicated activities co-ordinators. We hold sherry afternoons every day. Also popular are pampering sessions in the hair salon. We regularly host social events for friends and family to enjoy alongside residents.

Life at Tabley House is very peaceful. Residents can relax in our many quiet spaces, in our beautiful gardens or in their own rooms. Away from the home, we support residents to enjoy trips out to local shops and attractions.

Meals

A range of delicious menus are available at Tabley House. Freshly prepared and nutritious, meals are served in our bright and airy dining room by waitresses. Menus include warming favourites as well as lighter snacks.

Our head chef meets with the residents when they first come to Tabley to find out what they like and also holds residents meetings on a regular basis to ensure the menus cover the types of food that residents enjoy. We can cater for all dietary preferences and requirements.

“It was lovely to see Dad do his party piece of “There were Three Crows” on his 91st Birthday and for him to eat the home baked cake. I know he loved the food at Tabley.”Family member

Refreshments, including tea and coffee are available throughout the day.

Healthcare support

Tabley House provides a range of healthcare support with regular visits from chiropodists and physiotherapists. Additional services such as speech therapy, dental and optician appointments can also be arranged.
